Jello Delight

Jello Delight (by Lolita Jackson)

Ingredients

  • 3 small boxes of Jello
  • 3 cups of water
  • 2 cans fruit cocktail
  • 1 bag marshmallows
  • 1 bag coconut
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 pkgs cream cheese
  • Crushed nuts
  • Whipped cream
  • 1 can sweet condensed milk (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Jello according to box instructions
  2. Mix in the fruit cocktail and marshmallows with the Jello
  3. Chill Jello mixture in refrigerator
  4. Mix in separate pan: Cream Cheese, Sugar and Milk (if using)
  5. Once Jello is firm, spread cream cheese mixture over the top
  6. Apply whipped cream, coconut and nuts over top of the whole mixture
  7. Ready to eat

Notes

Any gelatin, recommend Jello brand Orange.

Any cream cheese, recommend Philadelphia Cream Cheese.

Go with the large cans of fruit cocktail and/or any canned fruit you want.

If you want to use the syrup from the canned fruit, reduce the amount of water for the Jello. Best when you drain the fruit and just use the water.

For low-cal, substitute 1 cup sugar for 5-6 pkgs of sugar substitute.

Recommend miniature, colored marshmallows.

Any type of nut or nuts, recommend Pecans and/or Walnuts
